Intel AMD and Via are CPU manufacturers, maybe removing them from the poll would be better

there is no such thing as octo core cpu

not even in the high-ended server segment

and not even around the corner

yeah there is putting two quad core cpus together makes octocore , you can buy them from apple=mac pro!

my mb supports 2 amd quad core direct connect.
AMD Athlon Quad FX-72 4x4, Asus L1N64-SLI WS Board,4 GB DDR-II 800 RAM ,Asus Nvidia 8600GTS 256M DDR3

no not the same thing

i mean 8 core in 1 package/cpu layout

not 2cpu X4 core

it is dual Quadcore not octo core
